The community tree is up on the corner in front of the State Bank. Tuesday morning S.O. McDonald, Charles Marsh, F.S. Graham, and S.I. Tibbins went out to the W.H. Burber place on the southeast corner of town and sawed down a big 35-foot pine tree.

W.H. Hollenback attended a meeting of chief telephone operators in Newton on Thursday.

Mrs. Dan Williams and her niece, little Ruth McHenry, visited friends in Wichita on Saturday.
