Christmas carols are to be sung around a big municipal Christmas tree on the library lawn Christmas Eve if the plans of the Peabody Club women do not go awry.

Free motion pictures for children Christmas afternoon at the Opera House — free to children, regular price to adults. One reel will be Dickens’s Christmas Carol.

History Club met last Friday with Mrs. Sam Moffett. Mrs. George Wagner gave a paper on “How motion pictures are staged.”
