G.H. Otte of Los Angeles enjoyed his 90th birthday Oct. 20 in good health and the day was spent trying his new auto, which his daughters Drs. Olinda and Julia Otte had purchased. The daughters were former dentists in Peabody.

Mrs. O.H. Craw and Muriel Smith entertained a large company of young people at a Halloween sheet and pillowslip party Saturday evening at the home of Mrs. Craw.

The sixth, seventh, and eighth grades with their teachers, Louise Moffett, Notie McLean, and Ruetha Hansen, went on a picnic out to Old Mill Dam last Thursday.

The Eastern Star had their Halloween party last Thursday night. The menu consisted of forbidden fruit, snowballs, pumpkin balls, life preservers, coffee, and witches brew.
