Joanna Brazil, Peabody Main Street director, will resign effective May 19.

Ron Kieferle called the Peabody Gazette-Bulletin last week to express pleasure in reading Days of Yore. He now lives in Bolivar, Missouri.

Rhea Astle, 98, died Jan. 27, 1996 at Newton Medical Center. She was a former fifth grade Peabody teacher and wife of W.B. “Buck” Astle who was head football coach for two years during the 1940s.
