"Hello Central, give me London." Florence telephone subscribers can make that request and get action on it because long distance radio telephone service between Florence and London is now in effect. This service will be furnished only between the hours of 7 a.m. and 12 o'clock noon. According to L. B. Schlag, district manager, the length of conversation for any one person will be limited to 12 minutes. There will be only one class of calls and that will be a person to person call. No reduced rates and no collect calls will be accepted. Did someone ask anything about the toll charge? It will be $81 for the first three minutes, with a $27 charge for each additional minute, with a report charge of $10 if you don't get your number.

Showing at the Mayflower Theater — coming direct from the Crawford, the Ted North Players, Monday and Tuesday. Monday night, the new comedy, "What Happened to Father?" with vaudeville between acts. Tuesday night, the most exciting play ever written, "The Cat and the Canary."
