Mrs. Paul Bengston purchased the Horner Cafe this week from Cowboy Kendricks. She has had considerable experience in the restaurant business and invites people to make the Horner their headquarters. The Dale Miller Produce moved Tuesday to its new location in the building formerly occupied by the Florence Hatchery just north of the Bulletin office. It is open and ready for business.
Warren Shaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shaw of Florence, was a candidate for the degree of Master of Science in Civil Engineering at the annual commencement exercises held last Monday in Lawrence by the University of Kansas. He has been an instructor in the School of Engineering at KU since his graduation two years ago.
