The Florence men's softball team won both ends of a double header Friday evening against the Santa Fe Rail Mill team of Newton. Florence won the first game, 18-17, and the second game, 12-10. Winning pitcher Jim Baldwin drove in Will Soyez with the winning run. Florence was paced by seven home runs in the first inning. The second game was more a matter of good outfield play with Will Soyez, Doug Helmer, Don Mackey, and Roy Mackey doing some fine fielding.
