There will be a community baby shower for Mrs. Ramon (Paulette) Zook on Friday, April 2, at 8 p.m. in the Florence United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Noel Dannenfelser entertained the Priscilla Club March 11 with a luncheon at Town and Country Café. Guests present were Miss Neosho Fredenburg, Council Grove; Mmes. A.P. Sommers, Salina; J.D. Robinson, Walter Davis, R.A. Engers, and Mildred Bibler. Members present were Mmes. Frank Haucke, Council Grove; Charles Dannenfelser, Harvey Brunner, Larry Jackson, James Williams, Ralph Jackson, and the hostess. The afternoon was spent playing bridge at the Dannenfelser home after which the hostess served dessert. Mrs Engers held guest high. Mrs. Haucke was high and Mrs. Williams low for members.
