Wonsevu news: Smith spends weekend with grandparents

Julia Smith spent the weekend with her grandmother, Erma Smith at Toronto. Her granddad, Don Smith was in the hospital and came home today.
We extend get well wishes to Don, wishing him a speedy recovery.
Hazel Clothier attended the potluck lunch Wednesday at Carriage Manor at Florence. Hazel went Friday to El Dorado with Bill and Margie Williams.
Bill and Margie Williams visited Saturday afternoon with Terry Steinbacher and her nephew Alan Hicks at Wichita. That evening Bill, Terry, and Margie ate supper out.
Denise Lang and Jessica visited Tuesday with her aunt, Pat at Marion.
Denise, Jessica, and Jaimie Lang, and Emily Horst attended the Topeka Bridal Fair Sunday at Ramada Inn.

Rep to meet with
veterans Tuesday
Richard Haywood, veterans' service representative for the Kansas Commission on Veterans' Affairs will be at the Marion County Health Department, Marion, from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Veterans, their dependents, or survivors who have received an Eligibility Verification Report form, or any inquiry from the Department of Veterans' Affairs, should contact him for assistance.
Prior to the meeting, call the Emporia office at 620-342-3347 so all files will be available.
