The problem with being retired is that you never know what day it is, what time it is, where you're supposed to be, or what you're supposed to be doing. It's a lot like working for the government.

Bev Reynolds attended the Boyd Goodwin family reunion on Bev's side of the family at the Bagnal Dam of the Ozarks. The came back through Edmond, Okla., and visited Bev's cousin and husband, Monty and Jan Beaty. They returned home Wednesday.
Darin and Tina Reynolds of Wichita came over Friday for a visit and meal.
Carl Williams of Manhattan was a Saturday dinner and supper guest of his grandparents, Bill and Margie Williams.
Sunday dinner guests of the Williams' were Gary Williams of Colby and Carl Williams of Manhattan.
Hazel Clothier attended the fish fry Saturday evening at the Florence park.
John Lang, Johnny and Jaimie, July Dornaker, and Kyle Grokett left Friday for New York. They arrived Saturday. They're visiting John's mom and Frank Rinaldi and other family members.
Julie Smith's Friday overnight guest was Shelby of El Dorado. Julia was an overnight guest Saturday of Shelby. They attended an early 4th of July and birthday celebration. They celebrated Julie's birthday Sunday.
Everett and Janet Cress went on a mission trip to Matamoras, Mexico, with Arise the international group from Newton. Janet said it was an eye-opening trip. Janet celebrated her 65th birthday June 19 while in Mexico at Padre Island. Randy Foster and Ryan came down Wednesday and met the team there. While there, Everett preached Saturday morning at one of the mission churches. Janet said a trip out into the Gulf on her birthday was exciting.
Janet and Everett's granddaughter, Mariah Cress, has been there visiting. She has been visiting with other relatives, too. While she was visiting Shawna and David Goodwin and family, she attended basketball camp at Wichita State University.
Jack and Patti Mitchell's granddaughter, Leanna Mitchell of Cadin, Ky., is spending a month with them.
Amy celebrated her 15th birthday this week.
Patti, Amy, and Leanna went to the drive-in movie Friday evening at El Dorado.
