Patti Mitchell and Amy attended the 4-H banquet Monday evening at Cottonwood Falls. Amy attended a 4-H meeting Sunday at Cedar Point. They did community service cleaning up on the highway.
Those on our get-well list this week are Virgil (Smitty) Smith, Laurie Rose, Marcy Good, Kathleen Brenzikofer, Cecelia Gayle, Bev Morgan, and Doris Griffin. We wish them all a speedy recovery.
We extend sympathy to the family of Roberta West. She will be missed by her friends and relatives.
We also offer sympathy to the Jess Dornbush family. We know he will be missed by his friends and relatives.
Bev Reynolds and Louisa Shumate attended the memorial service for Civilla Parks. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Monday evening Bill and Margie attended visitation for Mary Grimmett at Florence.
Margaret Morgan and Margie enjoyed eating out Tuesday in Emporia.
Saturday dinner guests of Bill and Margie were Gary Williams and Carl Williams of Wamego.
Hazel Clothier met her daughter Teresa Hill of Marion in Florence Friday for dinner.
Jaimie Lang spent the weekend with Brittany Harington at Eureka.
Julia Smith spent Sunday afternoon with her grandparents, Don and Erma Smith at Toronto for a cookout.
