We extend sympathy to the Virgil (Smitty) Smith family. He was a good friend. We spent a lot of time with him, Gennie, and Deb as our kids were growing up. He will be missed very much. Smitty was a barber in Peabody for several years.
Bill and Margie Williams went to Carlson Funeral Home at El Dorado Wednesday evening and signed Smitty's register. Later we visited with Gennie and two of her granddaughters, Tammy and husband Mark, and Jennifer. We spent time doing a lot of remembering.
Denise Lang baby-sat with her little granddaughter Friday at Strong City, enjoying the job very much.
Jaimie Lang and Kelly Dorneker, went trick-or-treating-' together.
We extend get well wishes to Betty Fetrow and Lois Miller, wishing them a speedy recovery.
Julia Smith made a cake for her cousin's baby shower at the Coyville Community Center Saturday. They had a fish fry following the shower. Sharon Smith attended the fish fry.
Sunday dinner guests of Bill and Margie were Gary Williams and Carl and Becca Williams of Wamego.
Everett and Janet Cress' visitor during the week was Dan Fletcher.
Doni Rogers visited Margaret Morgan of Burns Thursday.
