Hazel Clothier took a bus tour Oct. 5-10. The highlight of the trip was the balloon festival in Albuquerque, N.M. From there, they traveled through Tucumcari, N.M., to Carlsbad, N.M., before coming home through Texas.
Jaimie Lang was a Saturday overnight guest of Amy Mitchell.
Amy went to the 4-H book planning committee and officers' training.
Sunday afternoon visitors of Patti and Amy Mitchell were Denise Lang and Jaimie.
We extend sympathy to Nova Buel and family on the loss of her mother.
John and Denise Lang, Johnny and Jaimie attended the Bullpups football game Thursday evening at Waverly. Johnny was one of the players. Congratulations on their win.

Saturday and Sunday dinner guests of Bill and Margie Williams were their grandson, Carl Williams and Becca Kukuk of Manhattan.
Bev Reynolds attended a jazz concert Tuesday at Southwestern College in Winfield. Guest artist was Maynard Ferguson.
Roy and Bev's grandson, Kelley Reynolds, is number 1 trumpet in the combined Southwestern College-Winfield High School combined jazz band. They opened the concert for the Maynard Ferguson Band. Kelley also played a trumpet solo during "In The Mood." His jazz band conductor from Southwestern is Chris Schmitz. The Winfield High School conductor is Keith Anglemeyer.
Bev and Roy Reynolds and Orval Goodwin spent Sunday with Jack and Bonnie Carinder in El Dorado.
Sunday dinner guests of Hazel Clothier were Teresa and Kevin Hill, Heath and Cassidy of Marion.
