Bill and Margie Williams went to Arkansas Sept. 1 and returned home Sept. 8.

We attended my family reunion at Council Grove. I had cousins attending from California I'd never seen before.

We visited my sister, Thelma Thigpen and family. My sister, Julia Redding of El Dorado, Ark., visited Bill's sisters, Lola Smith, Mary Dell, and Sylvia Ann Williams, all of Harrell, Ark. We had an enjoyable time.

Sympathy is extended to the families of Peggy Wood and Marjorie Black and grandbaby. They will be missed.

We extend get-well wishes to Riley Reed and wish him a speedy recovery.

Guests of Hazel Clothier Sept. 12 were Teresa and Kevin Hill, Nellie, Heath, and Cassidy of Marion. Hazel attended the Labor Day parade at Florence. That evening, she attended a cookout with Larry and Tonya Soyez.

Hazel spent Wednesday night with her grandchildren, Nellie, Heath, and Cassidy Hill of Marion.

Terry Stienbacher of Wichita was a Thursday overnight guest of Bill and Margie. Sunday dinner and supper guests were Carl Williams and Becca Kukuk of Manhattan.

Sunday overnight guest of Roy and Bev Reynolds was their daughter, Kathy Dowell of Leon.

We extend our sympathy to the family of Roy Arnold. He will be missed.

Julia Smith got a blue ribbon at state fair on her pie. Congratulations.

Have a good week.
