Denise Lang and Jaime went to a movie in Emporia Saturday.

Doni Rogers attended the senior dinner Tuesday at Burns. She has been riding horses and helping move some cattle.

We went to Arkansas April 29 to a school reunion. We visited relatives and spent the nights with my sister, Thelma Thigpen in Little Rock. We visited Bill's sisters, Lola Smith and Mary and Sylvia Williams. A good friend we grew up with, Jeanetta Duncan, visited us Friday and Saturday evenings.

I got sick — not a "to do" thing on my list. I celebrated Mother's Day with Gary Williams and Will and Gayla Soyez, Elliot and Samantha and Samantha's friend. We had dinner in Newton and a fun time visiting.

We attended our grandson, Carl Williams' graduation May 10 from Manhattan Area Technical College. We visited him Sunday at Mercer Regional Center Hospital, Manhattan.

Hazel Clothier visited Lenore Smith in Florence Wednesday afternoon.

Hazel met her daughter, Teresa Hill of Marion at the Pizza Hut in Marion Friday for lunch.

Hazel went Sunday to Centre High School graduation for her granddaughter, Nellie Hill. Later she went to Kevin and Teresa Hill's for a barbecue to celebrate Nellie's graduation.

Roy and Bev Reynolds took Richard and Dolores Mann to the Burns Café Friday evening for supper to thank Richard for pulling her out of the creek this week.

We extend our sympathy to the family of Sam Roberts. He will be missed. He always was jolly when you saw him. I know he will be missed at Cedar Point.

We extend get-well wishes and a speedy recovery to Carl Williams and Linda Heath.

Dale and Tootsie Snelling have a new great-granddaughter. Parents are Lynn and Kent Mai of Goessel. The baby's name is Ellie Reann.

Granddaughters Karly, Molly, and Emmy Hess of Marion spent the weekend with them while their parents were away on business.

Leann Snelling of Goessel was a weekend visitor.

Dale and Tootsie Snelling attended the senior center potluck dinner Tuesday at the Burns Community Building. Dale gave the program about some of the history of Marion County Lake. He also shared some of their experiences while they lived there.

Our congratulations to all the seniors graduating. We wish them good luck in their next journey as they decide what they plan to do.
