We extend our sympathy to the family of Lloyd Cox. He grew up around Wonsevu many years ago. He was well known and will be missed.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Carinden of El Dorado and Orval Goodwin of Cedar Point were Sunday dinner guests of Roy and Bev Reynolds. Bev was accompanied May 16 by Orval Goodwin and Benny Carinden to Wichita to visit Bev's son, Darin and wife, Tina. They ate out for lunch.
Bev Reynolds attended the symphonic band concert May 12 at Winfield High School. Their grandson, Kelly Reynolds, is a member of the band. They have been asked to go to the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. in 2005. Congratulations Kelly. That's quite an honor. He also plays in a jazz band.
Hazel Clothier and Margie Williams ate lunch out Tuesday in Emporia.
Tuesday evening visitors of Hazel were Bill and Margie Williams.
Hazel and Joyce Hett of Marion had lunch Friday at the Chuckwagon in Florence. They went on a Sunday afternoon drive to see the wild flowers in the pastures.
Saturday and Sunday dinner guests of Bill and Margie Williams were Gary Williams, grandson Carl Williams of Manhattan, Terry Stienbacher of Wichita, and Neva Hicks of Omogee, Okla.
Patti Mitchell and Amy went to Miami, Okla., for the weekend. They attended the graduation of Patti's niece and nephew. Patti said it was a nice trip.
Jaimie Lang celebrated her 11th birthday Friday with an overnight party. Her guests were Peyton Smith, Robin Grokett, and Kelly Dornizher, all of Cottonwood Falls. Jaimie, we wish you a happy birthday and many more.
Johnny Lang's Sunday overnight guest was Bradley Clutter of Cottonwood Springs.
