Roy and Bev Reynolds attended a nurse pinning ceremony Saturday at Hesston College of Nursing, class of 2007, for Tara McCune, Bev's cousin's daughter.
The ceremony was held at the Mennonite church in Hesston with a luncheon following at Trinity United Methodist church in El Dorado. They later visited in the home of Bev's cousin, Jacky Preston of El Dorado.
Visiting with Bev were Bonnie and Jack Carinder, Jan Beaty, and Kyle Preston and family, all of Oklahoma.
Bill and Margie Williams went to Little Rock, Ark., April 26 to visit Margie's sister, Thelma Thigpen and family.
Bill and Margie Williams went to El Dorado Friday. We attended the all-school reunion Saturday. Fifteen alumni had passed away since our reunion last year, my sister Julia Reddin being one of them. We returned home Wednesday.
Wednesday evening Bill and Margie and Hazel Clothier met Jean Everett at Town and Country in Florence and enjoyed supper and a time of visiting.
Saturday dinner guest of Bill and Margie was our son Gary Williams of Wichita. Grandson Carl Williams of Wamego visited later in the evening.
Hazel Clothier attended the alumni banquet at Cedar Point Saturday evening.
Sunday Hazel visited with Teresa, Kevin, Nellie, Heath, and Cassidy Hill of Marion. Later they all attended a luncheon at the community building at Pilsen.
