Wonsevu Ladies Aid appreciates support

Ladies Aid met Thursday for an all-day meeting. Those present were Deneise Lang, Patty Mitchell, Margaret Morgan, Evelyn Sidener, Bev Morgan, and Margie Williams. The Ladies Aid appreciated everyone who came to the soup supper, bake sale, and bazaar.
Pastor Clint Stopple's message Sunday morning, "Having the Aroma of Victory in Christ," was taken from II Corinthians 2:14-17.
We extend get well wishes to Truman Strong who is on the sick list at this time. Here's wishing him a very speedy recovery.
Bill Williams visited Tom White on Thursday at the Heart Hospital in Wichita.
Bill and Margie Williams attended a cook-out Friday at the home of Will and Gayla Soyez, Elliot and Samantha. It was a belated birthday celebration for Samantha. Others present were Virgil Schmitt, Gary and Carl Williams, Dolly Soyez, Mary Turner, Katie, Sara, and Meagan, Frank and Christi Soyez, Nancy Soyez, John Soyez, and Larry and Tonya Soyez and Molly. Samantha was our Saturday overnight guest. Terry Steinbacher of Wichita joined us for Sunday dinner.
Deneise Lang, Johnny and Jaimie joined others in attending church Sunday morning at the Cedar Point Community Church. It was 4-H Sunday. Deneise said Larry had a good sermon about the good 4-H does.
Saturday afternoon visitors of Hazel Clothier were Teresa Hill, Nellie and Cassidy of Marion. Hazel attended the supper and bazaar at Wonsevu Saturday evening with Bus and Lois Huntley. Joyce Hett and Hazel had lunch together Sunday at the Chuckwagon in Florence.
Glen and Linda Mowell of Lafayette, La., were guests of Roy and Bev Reynolds. Bev and Linda met Lanette Green and Kathy Dowell at the Benton Mall for lunch Sunday and some shopping.
