Wonsevu: Goodwin will be missed

We extend our sympathy to the family of Harold Goodwin. We have been friends for many years. We will miss him greatly. He will be missed as he touched the lives of many over the years.
Roy and Bev Reynolds, Orvan Goodwin, and Kathy and Floyd Dowell went to the Benton mall for Bev's birthday and had dinner.
Georgie Lalouette and Marge Jackson took Bev Reynolds out for dinner for her birthday. They had dinner Thursday in Hillsboro. Later, they went back to Georgie's for birthday cake. Marsha Jackson joined them for birthday cake. Later they played bridge. We wish Bev a happy birthday and wish her many more.
Denise Lang and Patti Mitchell called on Margie Williams Friday morning. They all had a coffee break together.
Dinner guests of Bill and Margie Williams Sunday were Gary Williams, along with Carl Williams and Becca Kukuk, both of Manhattan.
Denise Lang, Johnny and Jaimie met Jessica Lang in Emporia Friday night for dinner.
Johnny Lang played in a middle school basketball tournament during the week in Strong City.
Bill and Margie Williams attended the funeral services Friday morning for Harold Goodwin at the Methodist church in Burns. We had lunch at the community building and visited with the family.
Hazel Clothier visited Joyce Hett Tuesday in Marion. Hazel visited with Thelma and Larry Blosser Friday at Florence. Hazel met Joyce at the Chuckwagon in Florence for lunch.
Shannan Forster Ryle, Randi Lyn, and a friend from Ottawa were Saturday guests of Everett and Janet Cross. They joined them for dinner and an afternoon of visiting.
Sunday dinner guests of Everett and Janet Cross were Brandon, Carri, and children. Everett and Janet Cross attended the services Friday for Harold Goodwin at Burns.
Sharon Smith and Julia attended the basketball game Friday in Salina. On Saturday, Julia went to a middle school basketball tournament game at Strong City. Julia kept the stats for the game.
