Wonsevu: Anniversary celebrated by extended family

Bill and Margie Williams' guests from June 23 to July 2 were Margie's sisters Julia Reddin of El Dorado, Ark., and Thelma Thigpen of Little Rock, Ark. Julia and Thelma helped Bill and Margie celebrate their 49th wedding anniversary on June 26. Others visiting at the Williams home while they were here were Will, Gayla, Elliot, and Samantha Soyez of Florence.
Bill and Margie Williams and Hazel Clothier attended the Fourth of July celebration at the blue building in Cedar Point. They were invited by Frank and Christi Soyez.
Wonsevu Christian Church's visiting minister Sunday morning was Ron Brown. His text John 14: 1-6, "Jesus is the new and living way."
We extend get-well wishes to Betty Fetrow and wish her a speedy recovery.
Friday evening supper guest was Hazel Clothier.
John, Denise, Johnny, and Jaimie Lang attended the fireworks display at Peabody on the Fourth. Denise, Johnny, and Jaimie and Amy Mitchell helped Sunday morning with the County Line 4-H food sale fund-raiser at Cassoday.
Saturday guests of Everett and Janet Cress were their grandchildren Montana, Hunter, and Walker Cress of Burns. Additional guests were Everett's uncle and aunt, Bob and Joan Metz of Hobbs, N.M.
Hazel Clothier and Lois Huntley visited Joyce Hett in Marion. They celebrated Hazel's birthday. Hazel's granddaughter Nellie Hill presented her with a birthday balloon and a bouquet of flowers. We extend birthday wishes to her and wish her many more.
Justin and Julia Smith spent the Fourth of July with their grandparents, Don and Irma Smith. They attended the Fourth of July celebration. Julia baked cookies for the County Line 4-H fund-raiser.
