We had a real nice Easter and enjoyed Easter services at Cedar Point Community Church. Our children, Gary Williams, Will and Gayla Soyez, Elliot, and Samantha of Florence, Carl Williams and Becca Kukuk joined us for dinner.
Friday overnight guest of Jaimie Lang was Brittany Herrington of Cottonwood Falls. Jaimie was a Saturday overnight guest of Brittany's.
Hazel Clothier was an Easter Sunday dinner guest of Richard and Dolores Mann. She helped her sister, Gladys Mann, celebrate her 96th birthday, along with many others. Later, Hazel's supper guests were Teresa and Kevin Hill, Nellie, Heath, and Cassidy of Marion.
We extend good wishes to Leo and Dorothy Scharenberg as they move to their new home in Hillsboro. They will be missed at Cedar Point.
We extend get-well wishes to Laurie Rose in Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado. We wish her a speedy recovery.
Weekend guests of Everett and Janet Cress were Terry Bruington of Olathe, Melvin Bruington of El Dorado, and Everett's brother, Eldon, of Emporia. Jim Siebert of Emporia was visiting his aunt and uncle, Everett and Janet, and also visited Brandon Cress. Supper guests of Everett and Janet Cress Saturday were Brandon and Carrie Cress, Montana and Hunter of Burns.
Everett and Janet Cress, Brandon, Montana, and Hunter attended a 40th birthday lunch Saturday at Emporia for Shannon Foster.
Afternoon visitors Saturday of Everett and Janet Cress were the Bill Herricks of Emporia.
Bill Williams had help working cattle Saturday so it was a busy place. Marge was in charge of the dinner. Those present were Gary Williams, Carl Williams, Becca Kukuk of Manhattan, Terry Stienbacher of Wichita, Neva Hicks of Okmulgee, Okla., and Ray and Dee Wessell and Angel of Cottonwood Falls. Sunday dinner guests were Gary Williams, Carl Williams of Manhattan, Terry Stienbacher of Wichita, and Neva Hicks of Okulgee, Okla.
Bill and Margie attended Singfest Sunday evening at the Community Church in Cedar Point.
