Our wish is that each and every one had a wonderful and safe New Year and may we never forget why we have Christmas to celebrate.
We extend get-well wishes to Laurie Rose and wish her a speedy recovery.
Doni Rogers spent Christmas out west visiting her cousins and friends.
A reminder: Kathy Dowell invites everyone to an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Harvey House in Florence. Her mom, Bev Reynolds, will celebrate her 70th birthday.
Donnie, Sharon, and Julia Smith's guests for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day were Donnie's parents, Don and Erma Smith of Toronto.
Bill and Margie Williams met Jean Everett at Town and Country Café in Florence Tuesday evening for supper and a time of visiting. Margaret Morgan of Burns visited Thursday afternoon and Denise Lang visited Friday. Their Friday overnight guest was Terry Stienbacher of Wichita.
Bill and Margie enjoyed a belated Christmas celebration and gift exchange with family and friends. Those attending were Gary Williams and Terry Stienbacher of Wichita, Will, Gayla, Elliot, and Samantha Soyez of Florence, Carl Williams and Becca Kukuk of Manhattan, and Hazel.
Friday guests of Everett and Janet Cress were Montana, Hunter, and Candice Cress of Burns. Candice spent the night and Saturday.
Supper guest Sunday of Everett and Janet were Randy and Shannon Foster of Ottawa.
