Women attend ice cream social

Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle attended the ice cream social and welcome for Pastor Jim and Joan Bush Wednesday evening. Later in the evening, they called at the Van Tuyl home. They went to El Dorado Friday afternoon and visited Wanda Van Tuyl and Ed Grimwood in the hospital.

Al, Bonnie, and Shelby Plummer went to Norton Saturday morning to visit Bonnie's mother, Florence Lambert, and her brother, Joe. They returned home in the afternoon and went to the Prairie Port Festival in El Dorado. They ate supper and visited with Al's brother, Ben and Jean Plummer and his sister, June and Ron Ford.

Marvin and Sherol Nightengale picked up Joyce Kyle and Mary Langenegger Friday morning and attended the Roy Seibel funeral at Marion Christian Church.

Larry, Dee, and Steven Morgan and Wayne, Laura, and Ginger Janzen of Moundridge took their mother, Ella Janzen, to supper Sunday evening in McPherson.

Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee and Nolan and Jana Smith and family were Sunday dinner guests of Jerry and Donna Nichol and their granddaughters, Andrea and Lindsey Nichol of Texas. They are spending part of their summer with grandparents.

Ike and Marie Clark called on Joyce Kyle Monday evening. Don and Laverna Parrish and Joyce Kyle attended the hospice volunteer meeting Thursday in Newton.

Lois Sayers and her sister, Mary Archer of Cottonwood Falls, went to Wichita Tuesday.

Friday supper guests of Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn were Willie and Cathy Bender, Timothy and Weldon of Mifflinburg, Pa., Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalan, and Carolee, Luana Isaac, and Kevin and Jan Jantz, Kaylee and Shauna. The Benders were overnight guests and left Saturday morning for their home.

Lawrence and Lois Sayers called on their daughter, Sandy Sayers, in El Dorado Sunday evening.
