Women attend county budget meeting

Maude Gaines and LaVonne Ammeter attended the county budget meeting Monday morning at the courthouse in Marion.

They went to Newton Wednesday morning to the eye doctor.

Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Those quilting were Dorene Kirkpatrick, Leona Widler, Sherry Nightengale, and Maude Gaines.

Don Gillet visited LaVonne on Thursday.

LaVonne went to Marion Friday morning for an appointment. She and Maude Gaines ate lunch at the senior center in Peabody and quilted in the afternoon.

Stan Ammeter and Marnita Robinson visited LaVonne Friday evening.

Lisa Clark visited LaVonne Saturday afternoon. She had a picture of her new grandson.

Maude Gaines picked up LaVonne Saturday evening and they went to the home of Marge and Fordyce Gray for a birthday pork chop supper.

There was some wet stuff that felt like rain! Had lots of visiting and as always, good food.

Maude and LaVonne attended church Sunday morning at Whitewater Center and had lunch at Florence.

Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., called LaVonne Sunday evening to report the KSU Wildcats were victorious Saturday evening.

Glen and Betty Kyle visited LaVonne Sunday evening. Dan and Kerrie Wiebe, Kenton, Natalia, Taryn, and Tiana and Stan Ammeter were visitors later in the evening.
