Winter homecoming activities begin next week
Beginning Monday, students at Peabody-Burns High School will be involved in activities for the traditional winter homecoming.
PBHS student council is in charge of the event. The group has planned a number of spirit activities including dress-up days, wagon floats, a pep rally, and candidate games.
The community is invited to attend the pep rally at 3:15 p.m. Feb. 6 in the gymnasium.
The homecoming game will be later that night against the Canton-Galva Eagles. The king and queen will be crowned at center court between the varsity girls' and boys' games. Homecoming candidates have not yet been selected.
A homecoming dance will be held from 8 to 11 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Brown gymnasium.
Dress-up days schedule is as follows:
Monday — Hillbilly Day
Tuesday — Twin Day
Wednesday — Rock Star Look-alike Day
Thursday — Opposite Day (Boys dress like girls, girls dress like boys)
Friday — Cowboy and Warrior Day
