Wilma Scrivner

Wilma Wauneta Scrivner, 85, died Sept. 15, 2005, at Legacy Park, Peabody.

Born Jan. 4, 1920, at El Dorado, she was the daughter of Daniel and Amy (Newman) Shook.

She was a homemaker.

On Jan. 6, 1940, she married Ben Scrivner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two sisters, Zola Stewart and Dorothy Southers.

Survivors include a daughter, Fern Scrivner of Pueblo, Colo.; brother, Howard Shook of Estes Park, Colo.; sister, Charlotte Walker of Elbing; sister-in-law, Orlene Scrivner of Peabody; niece, Mary Beth Gaines of Peabody; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Baker Funeral Home, Peabody, with Pastor Jim Pohlman officiating.

Burial was in Prairie Lawn Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established with Peabody Senior Center.
