Wilma Clark
Wilma R. Clark, 87, Newton, died Feb. 12, 2003, at her residence.
Born March 29, 1915, near Burns, she was the daughter of the late William and Ruby (Watson) Allen.
She was married to George Clark at Marion. He died Jan. 20, 1993.
She had lived at Peabody, Hesston, Burns, and Newton during her lifetime and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Newton, at the time of her death.
A quilter, she enjoyed making things for her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling to Arizona during winter months and also took a trip to England.
Survivors include son Larry Clark of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughters, Shirley Morgan of Livingston, Texas, Glenys Kicching of Blue Springs, and Linda Lane of Lebo; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday afternoon at Peterson Funeral Home chapel in Newton with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in her name at the church.
