Whitney, McVey exchange vows
Mallory Whitney and Robert McVey, both of Peabody, were married March 17 at Peabody United Methodist Church, Peabody.
The Rev. David Ragland officiated at the one o'clock ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mark and Ginger Whitney and Robert and Sandra McVey, all of Peabody.
The bride is the granddaughter of Dennis Dillon of Harper, Beverly Dillon-Craig and Janetta Whitney of Wichita, and the late Rev. Wendell Whitney.
The groom's grandparents are Donald and Gloria Weber of Newton, Jodie McVey of Danville, Calif., and the late Bruce McVey.
The bride is a May graduate of Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's degree.
Her husband also is a May graduate of Fort Hays State University with dual degrees in business administration.
Following a wedding trip to Estes Park, Colo., the couple moved in June to Irving, Texas, where Robert will be employed as an accountant for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service.
