Weekly Ammeter activities reported

LaVonne Ammeter visited Maude Gaines Monday morning.

LaVonne went to Hillsboro Wednesday morning. Ladies Aid met at her home Wednesday afternoon. Sherry Nightengale, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Leona Widler quilted. Adah and Carol Gilbert of Newton were guests.

Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived at the Ammeter farm Wednesday in late afternoon. He and LaVonne went to Newton to the Broadway Mortuary to visit with the Manning family and friends of relatives of Rosemary Manning, who died on Monday. They also attended the graveside service for her Thursday morning at the Restlawn Garden of Memory, west of Newton. Afterward they went to the home of Bob and Julane Hiebert for dinner and visiting. Blaine returned to Ellinwood Thursday evening.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne were in Peabody Friday afternoon and quilted at the senior center.

LaVonne attended the Burns School auction Saturday morning. She met Carolyn and Jack Metz there.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne picked up Sally Matz Saturday afternoon and they attended the open house for Sarah Albright's birthday. They also visited at Peabody Community Living Center.

Joyce Kyle picked up LaVonne Saturday evening and they went to the home of Bob and Becky Kyle, Braxton and Brody for supper to celebrated Brody's eighth birthday. Wow! What a party.

LaVonne and Maude Gaines ate lunch in Florence Sunday at the Chuck Wagon with Elsie Tittle and Hazel Clothier. They visited Elsie in the afternoon. Later in the afternoon, Maude and LaVonne visited Ike and Marie Clark. Other visitors at the Clark home were Max and Shayla Clark, Peggy Van der Weg of Newton, and the Ty Fredricksons.
