Vote Tuesday for city council members
Hillsboro voters will go to the polls Tuesday to vote for Hillsboro City Council members from the first and second wards.
Incumbents Shelby Dierks from the first ward and Byron McCarty from the second are the only candidates on the ballot.
First ward residents will vote at Hillsboro City Building, 118 E. Grand Street, Hillsboro. Second ward residents will vote at United Methodist Church, 905 E. D Street, Hillsboro.
The polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Absentee ballots are available at Marion County Clerk's office at the courthouse until noon Monday. Mailed ballots need to be returned to the clerk's office by 7 p.m. Tuesday.
