Vote Tuesday
Marion County voters will go to the polls Tuesday to elect city and school district leaders.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Advance ballots are available at Marion County Clerk's office in the courthouse during regular business hours and until 5 p.m. Monday.
City council positions and candidates are:
— Burns, council, three positions: Brent D. Baker, Daniel S. Huls II, Patricia Nystrom, incumbent Judith A. Steward, and Susan A. Savage.
— Florence, mayor: Greg Winn; council, ward one, one position: Dorothy Cleverley and (I) Daniel Ludwig; ward two, one position: Gary Nesser and Trayce Warner.
— Peabody, mayor: Edmund Slocombe; council, three positions: Mitch Cunningham, Larry Larsen, and (I) Steven Rose.
School district candidates are:
USD 398, position one: Bruce Burke and (I) Peggy Phillips; position seven (at-large): (I) Gilbert Loewen and Anthony Zappone.
— USD 408, position one: (I) Christopher Sprowls; position two: (I) Kathy Meierhoff; position three: Ronald Kirkpatrick Jr.; position seven (at-large): (I) Sarah Cope.
