Volleyball teams forming for Independence Day tournament
Teams are forming for the third annual Fourth of July Co-ed Volleyball Tournament, sponsored by Peabody Bible Church.
The third annual co-ed volleyball tournament is free of charge and begins July 3. Everyone is welcome to join the fun.
Teams may have as many people as desired, but only six team members may play at one time. Since this is a co-ed tournament, there must be at least two women and no more than three men on the court at one time.
Registration forms are available at Peabody Hardware and Lumber, Peabody State Bank, and Peabody Market and must be turned in by July 1. Forms may be mailed to Peabody Bible Church, PO Box 57, Peabody KS 66866, or to Sheila Carroll or Roger O'Neal.
Volleyball courts will be set up at Peabody Bible Church. Tournament play is from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 3. A free picnic lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for all team members and their families.
