Vantuyl, Works engagement
Kathryn Vantuyl and Anthony Works wish to announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mary O'Dell of Florence and the late Larry Vantuyl. She is a graduate of Marion High School and in May 2002 earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Kansas. She is a registered nurse in the medical intensive care unit at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Joseph and Jane Works of Humboldt. He is a graduate of Humboldt High School and earned a bachelor of arts degree in English Literature from Kansas State University. He currently is pursuing a juris doctorate at the University of Kansas School of Law.
The couple will be married May 31 at the United Methodist Church in Humboldt.
