Valentine luncheon enjoyed by Ladies Aid

Ladies Aid postponed its meeting last Thursday due to the weather. They had their Valentine luncheon Feb. 13 at the Town and Country Cafe with a Valentine gift exchange.
We were saddened by the death of Paul Sharenberg. He was a faithful church member. He and Velma were at church every Sunday until their health failed. We extend our sympathy to Paul's family. We will miss him.
We extend get-well wishes to Denise Lang, Johnny, and Jaimie. They have been on the sick list this week.
Jack, Patti, Josh, and Amy Mitchell attended the Soul Conservation meeting Saturday evening at Cottonwood Falls. Amy won a first place blue ribbon for her poster. Congratulations Amy on your winning poster. Shelby Linsea of Cottonwood Falls was a Friday overnight guest of Amy.
Hazel Clothier was a Saturday afternoon visitor of Margie Williams.
Sunday dinner guests of Bill and Margie Williams were Gary and Carl Williams of Manhattan, Terry Stienbacher of Wichita, and Will, Gayla, Elliot, and Samantha Soyez of Florence. They helped Carl celebrate his birthday. Happy birthday, Carl. We wish you many more.
Sunday afternoon visitors at the Williams' home were Patti Mitchell and Amy and Bev Morgan of Burns.
Bev Reynolds spent Tuesday and Wednesday with her son Alan and family in Winfield. She returned home Thursday. Bev attended baby Burton Harshman's layette shower Sunday afternoon at the Community Church at Cedar Point.
Wednesday guests of Hazel Clothier were Kevin and Teresa Hill of Marion. Hazel visited on Friday with Lois Huntley in Florence. Hazel went on a pleasure trip to Wichita Sunday with Kevin, Teresa, Nellie, Heath, and Cassidy of Marion.
