Two students medal in forensics tournament

Peabody-Burns High School students participated Thursday in the Marion Invitational Forensics Tournament at Marion.

Medal winners included Anna Zappone, first in humorous solo acting and Ruth McLeod, second in serious solo acting.

Rebecca Morris and Jessica Rosine placed seventh in improvised duet acting and Grant Buller placed ninth in prose interpretation.

Others competing for PBHS included Charlie Rippe and Alex Holm-McDowell, improvised duet acting; Tabitha Carrell, prose interpretation; and Rippe, humorous solo acting.

Other teams competing in the tournament included Centre, Halstead, Hillsboro, Goessel, Moundridge, Northern Heights, Osage City, Remington, and White City.
