Topham takes state 2A title

For a second year, Peabody-Burns High School runner Andrew Topham was the top finisher in Saturday's Class 2A Cross Country meet in Wamego.
The senior ran the course in 16:46.7. He crossed the finish line nine seconds ahead of the second place runner. The Warrior team finished fourth in the standing behind Sterling, Shawnee-Maranatha Academy, and Meade.
Six other PBHS Warriors ran the course on Saturday. Duane Unruh finished 21st with a time of 18.44.7, Jacob Wolf 34th, 19.09.4, Seth Alstrom 45th, 19.21.6, Aaron Topham 61st, 19.48.7, Ryan Wiebe 83rd, 20.49.9, and Josh Klarman 88th, 21.36.7.
