Tomahawks suffer first loss
After a stormy start to the Thursday road game at Bennington, the Tomahawks lost to Bennington 34-6. PBJH now has two wins and one loss and head next to Sedgwick.
The weather warnings and the lightning forced a delay in the start of the game. When the game was allowed to commence, Bennington put up the first six points on a long run with 7:15 on the clock in the first.
Three series later, Caleb Hilliard scored for the Tomahawks on a 5- yard run. With 20 seconds left in the first quarter. The score was tied 6-6.
Bennington returned the kick-off to the PBJH end zone to take the lead with only six seconds to play in the first. They added a two-point conversion and the Tomahawks were down 14-6.
Bennington scored three more times in the contest to give the Tomahawks their first loss of the season.
