Tomahawks overrun Colts
Peabody-Burns Tomahawks hosted the Remington Colts Thursday and defeated the visitors, 28-0.
Trevor Hamm put up the first score for the Tomahawks with a 58-yard run from the line of scrimmage.
Nathan Bishop connected with Duane Unruh for the conversion and the Tomahawks went up 8-0.
The PBJH squad held on to the 8-0 lead throughout the first half. Remington made a late effort to score, but Ben Eldridge came up with a huge tackle to stop the Colts.
The second half was better on offense for the Tomahawks, who scored three times. Hamm scampered 80 yards for a touchdown, Bishop ran 20 yards for a score, and Hamm added a 35-yard run for a touchdown.
Hamm also added another two-point conversion to bring the final score to 28-0.
The Tomahawks will play at Burrton this week.
