Tomahawks add two wins

The Peabody-Burns Tomahawks had a full week of round ball, playing Central Christian at home on Monday and traveling to Burrton on Thursday.
The Tomahawks will play again Thursday at home, meeting Hutch Trinity.
PBJH varsity got off to a slow start against Central Christian. Solid defense allowed the Tomahawks to take an early lead. The gap widened in the second quarter. After half time, the Tomahawks suffered a letdown, playing even with the Central Christian squad. The fourth quarter was all Tomahawks with the final score 42-29.

Against Burrton, the Tomahawks came out running and scored easily, but didn't have the same intensity on defense. They had the lead at the half, 32-21. An effective press in the third held Burrton scoreless for the period. The Tomahawks cruised to a win, 53-35.
