Toby Brady
Former Newton resident Toby Linn Brady, 38, died Feb. 14, 2005, at Corpus Christi, Texas.
Born Jan. 12, 1967, in Newton, he was the son of Patricia Lemon and Robert Brady.
He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1985 and was a meteorologist stationed at the Naval Air Station in Kingsville, Texas.
On Feb. 17, 2001, he married Tamera Thompson at Minneapolis.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Wayne Brady.
Survivors include his wife, Tamera Brady of Bishop, Texas; two sons, Dustin Davis of Fort Benning, Ga., and Dakota Cibolski of Bishop, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Kitty and Randy Thompson of Emporia; mother, Patricia Lemon of Florence; and father and stepmother, Robert and Rita Brady of Ramona.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton.
Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton.
Memorial funds have been established with the American Cancer Society and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
