Tabor College releases enrollment stats

Hillsboro campus numbers same as 2004 but FTE is highest in school history; Wichita campus sees growth

Tabor College's fall enrollment numbers have remained steady at 606 students, the same figure released at this time last year.

This semester's total full-time equivalency (FTE), 564, is the highest in Tabor's history.

Reports from the Hillsboro campus show a 1.9 percent head count increase from last year's figure of 471 to this year's 480. This translates into a 2.38 percent increase in FTE among undergraduate students in Hillsboro.

The Wichita campus experienced growth in undergraduate programs as well, from 115 students to 119, a 3.48 percent increase. FTE figures also jumped 4.88 percentage points from 82 to 86.

Eight students are currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Accounting program.

"Although our overall head count numbers are similar to last year, both the quality of the class and the increased FTE numbers are very beneficial," said Tabor College president Larry Nikkel. "The entire Enrollment Management team did a superb job in recruiting."
