Surprise party caps writer's busy week

Maude Gaines and LaVonne Ammeter were among the guests Saturday night attending the surprise birthday party for Mary Beth Gaines and her daughter, Polly Giebler. The event was held at the American Legion hall in downtown Peabody.
LaVonne Ammeter attended the Senior Center dinner on Tuesday at the Methodist church. Loren Cox showed a video after a delicious meal. Everything was so good: food, fellowship, and video.
Wanda Koehn visited LaVonne late Tuesday afternoon.
LaVonne Ammeter and Dorene Kirkpatrick worked in Marion two days this week.
Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Dorene Kirkpatrick, Sherry Nightengale, Maude Gaines, and Leona Widler quilted. Guests were Adah and Carol Gilbert of Newton.
Josh Clark visited LaVonne Wednesday evening.
Donna Huls and McKayla Oursler were Thursday evening visitors at LaVonne's.
Maude Gaines visited at the Marvin Nightengale home Friday afternoon.
Don Gillet and John Wayne Dauber of Florence were Saturday morning visitors at the Ammeter farm and Michele Montgomery visited in the afternoon.
