Superswimmers take second at league

Peabody Superswimmers came in second Saturday during the league meet in Herington.
Peabody finished with 288.5 points following behind the champion Lindsborg squad which tallied 300 points. Marion came in third with 263.50 points.
Rounding out the finishers were Hillsboro in fourth place with 187.50 points, Solomon with 167.50 points for fifth, Council Grove, sixth, 155 points; Abilene, seventh, 138 points; Hesston, eighth, 84; and Herington, ninth, 10 points.
"Our swimmers gave us everything they had today," said coach Laura Williams. "They swam hard, turning in great team effort from start to finish. We are proud of their performance and the results."
