Superswimmers take first at Abilene

Peabody Superswimmers took first place Saturday in the Abilene swim meet scoring 757 points.
Hesston came in second with 327 and Abilene was third with 298 points.
"The kids swam well considering the air temperature was 60 degrees at the start of the meet," said coach Laura Williams.
"Even without the sun, the kids did a great job staying motivated."
The third swim meet of the season will be a trip to Council Grove.
"Our next meeting will be even tougher for us," Williams said. "So, we'll be working extra hard this week."
