Students will head back to school
The end of summer will come next week for students in USD 398. Many will return to the classroom Aug. 16 for a half day of orientation.
All elementary school students except those attending kindergarten should be in their rooms at 8:30 a.m. that day. Buses will run their normal routes.
At the junior high and high school level, seventh graders, freshmen, and all new students also will begin orientation at 8:30 a.m. in their respective attendance centers.
No breakfast or lunch will be served that day.
Teachers will have an in-service for the balance of the day.
All students except kindergarten will be expected in class for a full day on Aug. 17, and kindergarten students will begin their school year on Aug. 21.
