Students prepare for spelling bee
Finalists in the Peabody Elementary School written spelling bee contest have been announced. The 21 students who made the list are eligible to participate in the school-wide spelling bee at 2 p.m. Friday.
The top three spellers in this group will compete in the countywide spelling bee Feb. 12 at Hillsboro Middle School.
Finalists at Peabody Elementary are Bill Crane, Clarissa Terronez, Alex McDowell, Julie Wedel, Christian Teaford, Joseph Zappone, Brian Wingert, Michael Lewis, Paige Barnes, Kaitlyn Preheim, Stephanie Rempel, Chris Dunfield, Dylan Jones, Joseph Lopez, Taylor Ensminger, Kendall Wiebe, Chris Loucks, Jake Middleton, Vanna Vanbuskirk, Felecia Pohlman, and Aaron Topham.
