State historical society representative to visit Peabody
Christy Davis, a representative from the Kansas State Historical Society, will visit Peabody Thursday.
Davis will be in town to tour the historic downtown district and offer suggestions on restoration and rehabilitation of buildings.
In addition, she will offer the Peabody streetscape committee suggestions on landscaping, street and sidewalk treatments, period lighting, and accessories that will compliment the historic district.
Davis also has agreed to attend a dinner at the Morgan House at 6 p.m. Thursday evening to talk about her impressions and answer questions.
