Spring Fling is Sunday in Florence
Florence Labor Day committee will hold its annual Spring Fling Sunday in Veterans' Park.
Entertainment begins at 3 p.m. and includes such acts as the Burns dulcimer group, Derrick Dody, Cheryl Doty, Bennie Holtsclaw, and several groups from Butler Community College.
A free will donation supper will begin at 4 p.m.
There will be kids' games, a raffle for prizes, and many other fun events.
Those attending are asked to bring a lawn chair and join in the fun.
In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the school gym. If necessary, the move will be posted on the town board by noon.
