Maude Gaines and LaVonne Ammeter went to Marion Tuesday morning.

Kerrie Wiebe, Natalia, Taryne, Kenton, and Tiana visited LaVonne Tuesday afternoon. They all went asparagus hunting. Such fun!

Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon. Those quilting were Sherry Nightengale, Maude Gaines, and LaVonne. Dorene went to watch her granddaughter play ball in the regionals.

Mack and Shayla Clark and Shayla's dad Wayne visited LaVonne Thursday evening.

Myron and Sally Ammeter of Great Bend, Neb., arrived at the Ammeter farm late Friday evening. They were overnight and Saturday dinner guests. Stan Ammeter was a morning visitor. Later in the afternoon they visited the Ebenezer and Summit cemeteries. Myron and Sally left Saturday afternoon to spend the rest of the weekend with Sally's mother, Opal Craney.

LaVonne attended the class reunion Saturday evening of 1948, 1949, and 1950 classes of Burns High School. They met at Arletta Koehn Catering in Burns. Forty people attended the supper and meeting. We had such good food and oh, so much fun! Our superintendent from 1946 to 1948, Ernest Edmond of LeRoy, and coach Kenneth Kaufman of Wichita attended. Much reminiscing was done by all of us. Reunions are so much fun and these two teachers were the highlight of the evening.

LaVonne and Maude attended the Burns High School alumni reunion Sunday at the new community building in Burns. A large crowd attended. We saw so many people we hadn't seen for a long time. Good food and sharing memories of years past filled the day. It was the largest attendance we've had for several years.

Lisa Clark visited LaVonne Sunday evening.

The Rev. Wayne and Dot Lofton were guests this weekend of Mack, Shayla, and Hadley Clark and Morgan Brickley. They came for Morgan's graduation from Newton High School.
