Senior fellowship enjoys meal at Burns

First Mennonite Senior Fellowship held a supper at the Burns Community Thursday evening. Attending were Pastor Elmer and Tina Reimer, Esther Stucky of Newton, Ted and Lois Roth of Elbing, Dave and Esther Stucky, Dan and Alice Stucky, Howard and Darlene Goering of Peabody, Phyllis Mitchell, Gene Obee, Mary Langenegger, Kathleen Brenzikofer, and Joyce Kyle.
Amelia Hess of Kearney, Mo., came Wednesday to visit her grandparents, Marvin and Sherol Nightengale. They took her to Topeka Sunday where they met her parents, Jim and Linda, and she returned home with them. Marvin and Sherol were guests in the home of their niece, Carol Nightengale, to help Don Nightengale celebrate his birthday.
Al, Bonnie, and Shelby Plummer baby-sat their grandsons (and nephews), Austin, Draven, and Aiden Bidwell of El Dorado, this past weekend.
Ty Gaines of Emporia was a weekend guest of his parents, Ronnie and Patti Gaines.
Jenny Koehn of Jamesport, Mo., was a Sunday overnight guest of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee. She and her parents and sisters came to attend the wedding of Tyson Koehn and Mashala Unruh. Several others attended.
Dee Morgan went to Moundridge Friday to pick up her mother, Ella Janzen, and met Ivan and Margaret Morgan at Bethel College to spend time with Steven Morgan for Grandparents' Day. Larry and Dee went to Hutchinson Friday evening and called on Robert and Angie Mielke.
Wayne and Gloria Handel of Oxford called on Larry and Dee Morgan Saturday evening after visiting her parents, Ike and Marie Clark.
Howard and Iris Smith of Burlingham, Ala., brother of Florine Koehn, came to the home of Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn Tuesday. They went on to Western Kansas and attended a couple of weddings, coming back to the Koehn home Sunday evening. They left Monday.
Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle met Archie and Maryellen Stenzel of Marion at the Burns Café Wednesday morning for breakfast.
Joyce Kyle met Ron and Georganna Larkin of Georgetown, Texas, at the Burns Café Saturday at noon. Later they toured the new community building, then went to the home of Joyce to visit.
Greg and Zeola Langenegger took Mary Langenegger, Trish Curiel, and Joyce Kyle to Olathe Sunday evening to attend a passion pageant at the College Church of Nazarene. It was awesome.
